Take two

It has been a long time since I have contributed to my blog and I feel that I should get on top of sharing ideas and commentary about things and stuff, the kind that no one will ever read. haha. Anywho, I have realised that I can just spout on and not be too concerned about its effects (to a reasonable degree of course)

Well what have I been up to....

Since my last post a lot has happened, sadly not all good for the most part.
Firstly I want to attempt to unburden myself of a tragic occurence that happened just after my last post. My stepfather Mick was diagnosed with liver cancer on the 11th July 2009, by the time the doctor diagnosed him the cancer had already spread to the rest of his body. He died on the 29th July. Experiencing cancer was a harrowing experience and one that literally tears you apart. It is hard to describe in the form of writing and I have difficulty in conveying the feelings that cancer has on the family.
Mick was my father for more than 10 years, and his kind spirit, his strength, determination and jolly attitude pulled my family up from a very dark and hard situation from the day we first met him. He will always be in my heart, and his laughter, love and pure geordie good time attitude will forever until the end of my days resonate within me.

Rest in Peace Mick. Words cannot describe how much I love you. Hope you have a nice pint of Guinness waiting for me on you black and white cloud.
